The Cumberland Island National Museum is located  on  Osborne St., the main street in St. Marys. Managed by the National Park Service, it contains exhibits of items from Cumberland Island, including  pictures and personal items from the Carnegie family.

This display of furniture from the Gilded Age, when the Carnegies owned most of Cumberland Island, also contains a priceless Tiffany lamp and desk set.

Behind the headless statue, removed from one of the many cemeteries found on Cumberland Island, is a photograph of the complete statue.

This wagon is one of several that were found in an attic on Cumberland Island by a park ranger.

The ruins of Dungeness, the Carnegie family home, are a reminder of the fabulous lifestyle of the wealthy during the Gilded Age.
