Start your visit to St. Marys with a tour of the Welcome Center in historic Orange Hall. This ante bellum home is beautifully restored and furnished.  You may watch a video about St. Marys and obtain a  walking map of the town from the Orange Hall hostess.

The St. Marys Submarine Museum is filled with fascinating displays from actual submarines, including a working periscope. With Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base nearby, St. Marys is a must-see stop for all
Naval aficionados. The annual SubVets convention is held in St. Marys during the first  week in November.

First Presbyterian Church was built in 1808 and is the second oldest church in Georgia. Other churches dating from the 1800s include Our Lady of the Sea Chapel,  Christ Episcopal, and St. Marys Methodist Chapel.
